How to Get Warranty-Eligible Status

Providers holding an active Gera Services Passport make their bookings automatically eligible for the Gera Action Warranty — a capped limited service guarantee that increases customer trust and booking conversion.

How to Qualify

1

Apply for a Gera Services Passport

Visit passport.gera.services and apply for a Gera Verified badge or higher. At minimum, Gera Verified (£9.99/mo) gives you warranty-eligible status on standard home and digital service bookings.

2

Complete identity and checks verification

Submit your identity documents and, for higher tiers, credentials and background check consent. Gera processes verification within 2–5 business days. You are notified by email when your Passport badge is active.

3

Display your Passport badge on your profile

Once verified, your Gera profile automatically shows the Passport badge. Customers booking you through GeraHome or other Gera platforms will see the warranty-eligible icon and the claim cap that applies.

4

Keep your Passport active

Warranty eligibility is tied to your active Passport subscription. If your subscription lapses, new bookings will not be warranty-eligible. Bookings made while your Passport was active remain covered for the claim window period.

Benefits for Providers

Higher booking conversion

Customers are more likely to book providers displaying a warranty-eligible badge. The limited service guarantee reduces perceived risk at the moment of decision.

Premium listing placement

Warranty-eligible providers are ranked higher in Gera search results. Customers filtering for verified providers see your profile first.

Transparent claim handling

If a claim is raised, Gera handles the mediation. You are notified, given the opportunity to respond, and can resolve the issue directly through the platform.

Conduct record stays clean

Resolving a claim promptly — offering to return and rectify — keeps your Passport conduct record clean. Providers with clean records renew at the same tier cost.

Machine-readable trust signal

Your Passport badge is machine-readable. AI agents that book services on behalf of customers can verify your warranty eligibility before confirming a booking.

Capped liability, clear rules

You know the maximum claim amount for each service type before accepting a booking. There are no open-ended liability surprises. Claims are capped and evidence-led.

Your Obligations When a Claim Is Raised

By holding a Gera Services Passport, you agree to these claim-handling obligations:

  • Respond to a raised concern within 24 hours via the Gera platform.
  • If the concern is valid, offer to return and rectify within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Gera may process a capped resolution if you decline to return without valid reason.
  • Three or more upheld claims in a 12-month period results in a Passport conduct review.
  • Fraudulent or unacceptably delayed responses lead to Passport suspension.
