Pricing questions
- How do I buy a warranty for my booking?
- Pick a tier on this page and click Buy. Stripe Checkout opens; pay with card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Attach the warranty receipt to your booking via the link we email — takes under 60 seconds end-to-end.
- How does Action Warranty work?
- Add a warranty tier to any qualifying Gera booking. If the work goes wrong within the cover window, file a claim through the link on your receipt and we facilitate refund or repair up to the cover limit. One claim per receipt; no excess fee.
- How fast are claims paid out?
- Most Bronze and Silver claims are decided within 5 business days of evidence submission. Gold claims are reviewed within 24 hours during business hours. Approved refunds settle to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
- What evidence do you need for a claim?
- Your booking receipt, a short description of what went wrong, and at least one photo or video of the issue. Gold tier adds free written-report review by our claims team.
- Which products support warranty add-ons?
- Initially GeraHome service bookings. Coming soon: GeraEats orders, GeraRide trips, GeraMarket physical-goods orders.
- Are claims handled by Gera or the provider?
- We handle the claim end-to-end. We then settle with the provider through their Verified Passport account. You get one place to go when something fails — no chasing the tradesperson.
- Can I buy a warranty after the booking?
- Bronze and Silver: yes, within 24 hours of booking. Gold: only at checkout — because the higher cover limit needs the provider details locked in before work starts.
- What is your refund policy on the warranty fee itself?
- If the booked work never happens (provider cancels, you cancel within the allowed window), the warranty fee is refunded in full automatically — no form to fill in.
