Eligibility Criteria

All of the following must be true for a claim to be considered:

  • Booking was made through a Gera platform and received a signed action receipt
  • Provider held an active Gera Services Passport at time of booking
  • Claim submitted within 48 hours of the scheduled job end time
  • Photographic or video evidence of the incomplete work is provided
  • Work scope was agreed in the original booking description

What Is Not Covered

Exclusions specific to this claim type:

  • Consequential water damage unrelated to the incomplete work itself
  • Pre-existing faults the provider reported before starting
  • Jobs cancelled by the customer mid-service
  • Claims where the work scope was verbally changed after booking confirmation
  • Third-party materials sourced by the customer that proved incompatible

How to Make a Claim

Follow these steps in order. Evidence must be submitted within the claim window.

    Log in to your Gera account and navigate to the booking in your history

    Tap "Raise a concern" on the action receipt within 48 hours

  3. 3

    Select "Incomplete work" and describe what was left undone

  4. 4

    Upload photos or a short video showing the unfinished state

  5. 5

    Gera reviews evidence within 24 hours and contacts the provider

  6. 6

    Resolution offered: rebook with a different provider, platform credit, or capped refund
